CG friendly?

Yes! Our products contain no silicones, no aggressive sulfates such as Sodium Laureth Sulfate, no parabens and no mineral oil.

Tested on animals?

Our products are not tested on animals. Since 2013, there has been a ban in Europe on the use of laboratory animals for testing cosmetics.

Vegan?

No, our products are not vegan.Royal jelly is a honey bee secretion.

Suitable for small children?

Our products contain a perfume. For this reason we do not recommend using the products for children under 2 years of age. In addition, we always recommend doing a patch test before using a new product.

Is there protein in the products?

The Curl Styling milk has no protein. And the Curl Defining Gel does have protein.

Hair treatments

Where do the treatments take place?

We currently have a at home salon in Amsterdam.

Are these chemical treatments?
No, our treatments consist of natural ingredients such as oils and herbs.

My hair is damaged by dyeing, use of excessive heat  and / or chemical treatments. Can I get my curls back with this treatment?
That depends. Heat damage can be addressed if it’s not too severe. Some of the curls can be revived if the over processing is minimal. This can be done through a professional protein treatments. But know that this process may not fix your hair completely. If you still have stringy bits of hair that won’t curl, then you will eventually have to cut them off. Our treatments do contribute to the stimulation of hair growth and we can work with you to create a personal hair routine to ensure that the hair that grows back healthy also stays healthy!

Do you also cut hair?

No we do not. We have chosen to focus solely on nourishing curly hair. We are, however, in contact with good curly hair dressers. So feel free to ask about this!

Are the treatments also suitable for children?

Children from the age of 8 can come by for treatment. During the treatment, the child must sit under a hooded steamer, and we do not think that is justified at a very young age.

Which treatment do I need?

On our website you can find more information about each treatment. No need to panic if you don't know which one to choose. On the day of the appointment we will check to see if you made the right choice.
